Tang Soo Do Programs
Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean Martial Art. Simply translated it means, the Chinese (T’ang) Hand (Soo) Way (Do), reflecting Korea’s shared cultural history with China.
Tang Soo Do is a way of life that demands its practitioners to live a life of balance, in line with nature and nonviolence. Tang Soo Do training develops awareness, confidence, respect and integrity, all while strengthening the body and invigorating the spirit.
Family Class (ages 2 & 3, 4 & 5)
One of PMA’s signature classes, the Family Classes gives parents and kids the unique opportunity to train together, further developing the partnership of parent and child. Each class follows opening and closing tradition while the body of the class explores martial arts foundations, kicks, blocks, punches, stances, while maintaining a playful environment. Parents, be ready to move and sweat, this class is designed to keep you on your toes and provide a work out for you as well!
Tiny Tigers (ages 3-4)
Tiny Tigers take on the world with endless excitement and curiosity.Here in this magical space we explore and grow in an environment that is appropriate to their needs. Join us in this adventure of discovery through movement, music, games and giggles! Children will develop listening skills, focus, coordination, motor skills, and the ability to play safely and respectfully with others.

Little Dragons (ages 5-6)
In this class children are introduced to the basics of the martial arts world, from bowing and belt tying,to blocking and breaking. It maintains its playful structure with animal postures, and movement games that hold the child’s attention while simultaneously developing the foundations of martial movements. Children develop listening skills, eye hand coordination, focus, respect and safe play.

Juniors (ages 7-12)
In the Juniors class the fundamentals are developed without losing the fun aspect. Students develop body-space awareness, boundaries, listening skills and focus through fun interactive games and drills that strengthen basics: blocks, kicks, punches, and stances. Traditional rank and testing is introduced at this level.

Teens & Adults (ages 13+)
In this class beginning and intermediate students train together.Intermediate students learn patience and leadership through sharing training time with beginning students. Class offers challenging drills, limit pushing exercises, mental and physical demands that sharpen each students ability to take all aspects of themselves to the next level. Students get a warm up, cardio workout, mental and physical challenge resulting in a total mind-body experience.
