Paresh Martial Arts |
|---|

I had a fantastic time at the regional tournament last weekend. It was a great opportunity to join the Tang Soo Do community in the lush setting of Garberville, and to practice and compete with our peers from all parts of the Pacific Northwest. Paresh Martial Arts made a splash, and it’s a thrill to be part of the “new kid on the block” dojang. Awesome. Like flying-side-kick awesome. I was incredibly impressed by all the things I saw this past weekend, and as a white belt, a bit intimidated too.
Meeting Grandmaster Shin and practicing Ki Gong in the redwoods with him was an honor and an expansive experience that I’ll always treasure... particularly when he called walking in the woods a “forest bath.”
Ms. Ohlson is my new hero. And congratulations to Mr. Cerceau for his stellar performance (that, sadly, I missed). Lastly, I’m excited to take what I learned this past weekend and incorporate it into my practice. Tang Soo!
